About the event

Do you have concerns about your child's literacy and school readiness?

If so, Early Literacy 101 with Melissa Briggs - Early Literacy Specialist, is the perfect workshop for you!

This informative workshop will provide you with insights so that you can help your child develop strong literacy skills, avoid reading difficulties, and thrive in school.

During this workshop, we will take a practical look at how the brain learns to read and the skills involved in reading. You will also learn practical techniques to help your child develop these skills and signs of reading difficulties that you should look out for as a parent.

Early intervention is key to helping children succeed in school. Research has shown that children who develop strong literacy skills early in life are more likely to excel in school, have higher self-esteem and better mental health outcomes.

Early literacy struggles share strong links with students…
