Educational therapy is ideal for primary and secondary school students who are experiencing learning, language, sensory, intellectual, physical, emotional, social and cognitive difficulties.

That's exactly what our Educational Therapists, Jane and Lanara, do. They are warm, friendly, and intuitive - quick to understand the heart of any situation. Whether your child or teen needs help with learning, problem-solving, friendships, self esteem, difficulties associated with ASD or ADHD, Jane and Lanara have the tools they need to succeed!

Jane loves working with students of all ages, but is especially passionate about adolescence. Lanara loves working with early childhood and Primary aged children.

Educational Therapy is a unique service offered by The Village Health to support the many families who face delayed intervention due to the current demand for paediatric allied health. Jane and Lanara are proactive about recognising challenges, building trust and implementing strategies based on the needs of the individual. They are able to assist with motor and cognitive skills, sensory processing, social, emotional and behavioural challenges. Most of all, they work to build confidence in their client, and support the family to thrive.

This evidence based approach works within a strengths-based model that involves goal setting, intervention and therapeutic support. Ideal for children and adolescence with Sensory Processing Disorders, ADHD, Dyspraxia/DCD, ASD, learning difficulties, motor coordination challenges, behavioural difficulties and social and emotional needs.
