Therapy Dogs
Sometimes connection comes with four paws and a wagging tail.
Walking into a health or counselling practice can feel like a big step.
You might be nervous.
Your child might not know what to expect.
You might simply be having a really hard day.
And sometimes, being greeted by a little furry face makes that first step feel just a bit easier.
At The Village Health, our dogs are part of what makes our Village feel like home.
They don't need you to explain why you're here.
They don't care whether you've had a good week or a terrible one.
And they certainly don't expect you to have everything figured out.
They're simply very happy to see you.

Come for the support. Stay for the puppy cuddles.

ARLO
Arlo brings his own special kind of warmth to The Village.
With his gentle presence and gorgeous Cavoodle personality, Arlo understands something we value deeply around here:
Sometimes you don't need someone to say the right thing. You just need someone to sit beside you.
Whether he's offering a friendly hello or simply sharing the space, Arlo is part of the warmth and connection that makes The Village Health feel different.

PATRICK
Don't let Patrick's size fool you.
This little Toy Poodle brings plenty of personality to The Village.
Patrick reminds us that connection doesn't always need to be complicated. Sometimes it's a wagging tail, a familiar face or a small moment of joy in the middle of a difficult day.
Patrick is intuitive and loves a snuggle on the couch.

Poppy is the newest, and possibly most enthusiastic team member.
As a Miniature Groodle puppy, Poppy is currently learning the skills she'll need as she works towards becoming a therapy dog.
For now, her responsibilities include learning her manners, getting comfortable with the sights and sounds of the practice, making friends and perfecting the art of making people smile.
